Susan has always had a fascination for historical fiction. Her passion for period romance was fueled by authors such as Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell. This is her first attempt at recreating a world back when manners were the height of gentility, posted envelopes could contain any news imaginable, and woman had adventures just by crossing the road.
